The 36-year-old, who made his debut for the Old Trafford outfit in 1994, is 7/4 to hang up his boots after an illustrious career for club and country.
Scholes has played 661 times over his 16-year career – scoring 150 goals for United.
Next in line to retire is David Beckham who, unlike Neville and Scholes, wasn’t a one-club player having also shone at Real Madrid, AC Milan and LA Galaxy.
Beckham, 35, is available at 5/2 alongside the club’s most successful player – 37-year-old Ryan Giggs.
Making up the list is Everton captain Phil Neville, who left Manchester for Merseyside in 2005. The utility man, a mere 34-years-old is an outside shot at 4/1.
Man United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar will also be hanging up his boots at the end of the season as Sir Alex Ferguson continues to build for the future.
The 40-year-old Dutchman signed from Fulham in 2005 and was instrumental in the club’s 2008 Champions League winning side.
